Jeannette Deloya
Jeannette brings 30 years of experience in community work, university and public education to her skillset as presenter and facilitator in group development, collaboration and strategic planning. Her approach is influenced by Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Courage to Teach, Restorative Practices and Action Research, along with the theories and practices of Adaptive Schools (Garmston and Wellman). Prior to her recent retirement from the Madison Metropolitan School District, she served as the Coordinator of Mental Health Supports and Lead School Social Worker. At heart, she is a collaborator and inquirer, who is firmly committed to promoting practices that respectfully support adults as they navigate complex social organizations and engage in highly rewarding and challenging work.
