Carolyn McKanders || Cognitive Coaching℠ Trainers Meeting

Carolyn McKanders is the former Co-Director for Thinking Collaborative, the home of the Adaptive Schools Seminars and the Cognitive Coaching Seminars®. As an educational consultant, Carolyn specializes in individual, group and organization development. Her passion is promoting quality human relationships through communication, collaboration and leadership skills development. In addition to her work in educational settings, she is a family and women’s counselor. From her counseling experience she brings to her work a deep belief in the unlimited capacity and resilience of the human spirit.

Kendall Zoller || Symposium Keynote

Kendall lives in the world of HeartSpace and is an Adaptive Schools Foundation Seminar trainer since 1998. He is an author with over 50 publications and a global adventurer providing training in leadership and communicative intelligence to drive adaptive disruptions grounded in equity and the deconstruction of systems of injustice in schools. He is an associate professor at California State University Dominguez Hills in the Administrative Credential program.

Ochan Kusuma Powell || Symposium Keynote & Adaptive Schools℠ Trainers Meeting

Ochan is an international educator and consults with schools around the world. She has been an Training Associate for Cognitive Coaching since 2006; and for Adaptive Schools since 2013. She previously served as a trainer for the international Teacher Training Center and has publications in the areas of differentiated instruction, organizational intelligence and inclusion. Ochan is a founding member of the Design Team for the Next Frontier Inclusion, a not-for-profit organization that supports international schools in becoming increasingly inclusive at a systems level.
