This region of the map allows us to step back from the event and take a macro and micro look at the experience. In order to be successful, it is critical to understand the factors that contribute to our successes and our challenges. Through analysis, we identify and interpret the causal factors. We suggest at least three to five questions are considered in order to move below surface thinking. Some typical helpful questions might be:
How did it go compare to how you thought it might go?
What are you aware of in your planning that contributed to your success?
What are some decisions you made during the event and how did they impact the experience?
How might others view the experience?
What are some things you were conscious of in yourself during the event?
What questions might be most productive for you in analyzing the things that have been most important to you this year?
