Back to Basics: Identity as a Collaborator and Inquirer

A goal of the Adaptive Schools training is to develop an identity as a collaborator and inquirer. Thinking Collaborative defines collaborators as, “people with different resources working together as equals to produce a meaningful outcome.” An inquirer is curious, asks questions, invites thoughts and feelings, and investigates. When the two identities of inquirer and collaborator are combined, we live from our collective values and make decisions together based on those values in the context of our organizations.

What are some of the contexts in which you are intentional in taking on these identities?

How might you become more intentional? How do these identities transfer into other facets of your life? What are some examples of how you model these for others?
