By exploring a future orientation, we move a person from thinking episodically about an event to moving it to application to future experiences. Without this, there is no learning, only experiences. This region creates transfer and is often forgotten, consequentially learning is forgotten. This region creates consciousness and invites the specificity required for craftsmanship. Some possible questions could be:
How does this insight apply to your future work?
What might be some key applications you will make with this insight?
What are some ways you see yourself applying this in your work?
What are some things you might want to do with this insight that will be important?
As you reflect on this school year, how will you focus on transferring your learnings from this year to next?
