Self-Directed Learner in Ourselves

Costa and Garmston explicate the concept of self-directedness through three key descriptors. Self-directed learners are self-managing, self-monitoring, and self-modifying.
This week consider what each of those descriptors mean to you. Examine one day this week in terms of how you live as a self-managing, self-monitoring, and self-modifying person.
What behaviors did you consciously engage in that supported the three facets of self-directedness?
Where were there gaps for you?
As you think ahead, what new consciousness do you have about your own self-directedness?
