Over the last two weeks, you have been challenged to develop higher consciousness about what is keeping you from coaching and to develop strategies to overcome your personal blocks. This week, we invite you to be proactive in moving to a stronger identity as a mediator of self-directedness. Take 10-15 minutes to review your weekly calendar. As you review your calendar, mark specific events where you want to deliberately serve as a Cognitive Coach, first and foremost. Make some notes to yourself about key questions you might ask. Before you go to a meeting take two to three minutes to review your notes. At the end of the week, take fifteen minutes to reflect on the results of your deliberate intention to coach. Ask yourself, “What did I learn from this experience that will serve me in my future development as a coach?”
