Amy Cohan, PhD

Amy Cohan is a Training Associate for Adaptive Schools with more than 25 years of experience in education. Deeply committed to the work of Thinking Collaborative, she is guided by a core belief that collaboration is essential to improving outcomes for all learners. She partners with schools and districts to strengthen teaming practices and build sustainable systems that improve collective efficacy.

Amy holds a doctorate in School Psychology and has served as Lead Coach, Program Supervisor, and Intervention Specialist within a cooperative serving multiple districts across Chicago’s North Shore. She provides coaching, direct services, and professional learning.

Across all of her work, Amy is known for fostering effective teamwork and building the capacity of educators to work together in ways that directly impact student success.
