Training Associates

Jen Orton is a coach and curriculum specialist in literacy, leadership, and the formative assessment process. Jen obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from University of Alaska, Anchorage and her Masters in School Principalship from Central Michigan University. She has experience in grades K-12 as well as community college. She supports school districts and educational agencies and works directly with teachers, students, and administrators on a regular basis. Jen also creates, presents, and supports state-wide professional learning opportunities.

Jen's mission is to to be an "agent for good.� Using curiosity, creativity, passion, and skills helps humans to stay grounded in hope, resourcefulness, and joy. This servant leadership mission articulates the work that matters: the work that honors educators, lifts them up, and empowers them to remain efficacious even during times when outside influences are trending downward.
