Training Associates

Juanita is a private educational consultant and part-time Teacher Center Director. She is a Training Associate for Cognitive Coaching, Adaptive Schools, Habits of Mind, Teacher Leadership, Presentation Skills, and Facilitation Skills. As Director of the Genesee Region Teacher Center, she is responsible for providing professional development for component districts as well as building capacity for teacher leadership. Her background is a retired Middle School Science teacher, department chair, and mentor coordinator. She is providing virtual learning opportunities and resources for teachers. She facilitates groups designing professional learning in the region. Juanita�s Thinking Collaborative journey has been shared with Pat Mullikin. They co-present trainings from the K-12 perspective.
She has a BS in N-9 Education from State University of New York at Geneseo and a Masters of Science in Education from State University of New York at Brockport. She has been involved in Cognitive Coaching since 2005. Juanita is a member of ASCD.
