LeeAnn D Moore

LeeAnn Moore is an independent consultant working as a cognitive coach and Training Associate for Cognitive Coaching Seminars Foundation Training. LeeAnn began her work in Cognitive CoachingSM as an Agency Trainer in the Formative Assessment for Michigan Educators (FAME) program, where she continues to serve as a Lead Coach for coaches of formative assessment teams across the state of Michigan.

LeeAnn is a graduate of Central Michigan University with an elementary teaching degree in reading, Spanish, and bilingual education; she has her Masters Degree in Middle Level Education from Central Michigan University. During LeeAnn’s 25 year tenure in a rural middle school in Michigan, she was an 8th grade literature teacher and then an instructional coach. LeeAnn also taught classes in Curriculum and Instruction for Central Michigan University’s Middle Level Masters Program for several years. She rounded out her last four years in Michigan public education on a grant-funded Statewide Field Team that provided coaching and consulting in systems implementation for superintendents and building leaders across the state.

LeeAnn’s work as an independent consultant takes her back to Michigan frequently, though she currently lives in Florida. She hopes to build a network to bring the important work of Cognitive CoachingSM to Florida and to live into her mission of “teaching the tools and maps to educational groups in order to positively impact the lives of teachers and students that are served by those groups.”
