Marguerethe Jaede, PhD
Marguerethe Jaede, PhD, is the Director of Partnership4Success (P4S), a collective impact initiative focused on improving outcomes for youth, young adults, and the adults who serve them. Through a continuous improvement model, Marguerethe convenes cross-sector communities of practice drawing from more than fifty partners in the youth services and education ecosystem. Marguerethe and her team are leading two research studies exploring the use of Cognitive CoachingSM in building internal coaching systems in youth service and child welfare. These efforts support talent development, leadership growth, and effective change management.
Previously, Marguerethe served in the Higher Education Partnerships Office of Columbus City Schools, where she cultivated collaborative partnerships with local universities to recruit, prepare, and retain highly effective urban educators. Her career spans over 30 years across school districts in Oakland and San Diego, California, and Central Ohio, where she has served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, curriculum coordinator, professional learning specialist, and school board member.
Marguerethe is a Training Associate for both Cognitive CoachingSM and Adaptive Schools® and serves as a mentor for Adaptive Schools®. She works with individuals, groups, and communities to build thoughtful, effective collaboration in the presence of differences—integrating human-centered approaches and coaching practices to improve outcomes for individuals, groups, and organizations.
Her diverse experiences have fueled a deep passion for working alongside adults to cultivate collaborative, youth-centered environments that foster data-informed, empathetic, and intentional responses to the needs of children.
Marguerethe holds a BA from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, an MA from the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota, and a PhD from The Ohio State University
