Marie Ullrich
Marie believes in the need for human-centeredness in all her work. Transformational learning can only result when the dignity and humanity of clients and coachees is honored and preserved. Marie's approach is based in the idea that we all bring something to the coaching relationship, as long as we ensure we are showing up as learners.
Marie began her career in education in New York City as a high school English teacher. Always a lover of language, she has a Masters in Linguistics and wrote her thesis on genre studies. Marie taught in North Carolina before moving to the Denver-Metro area. With over 20 years in various areas of education, Marie has experience as a mentor for new teachers, instructional coach, adult learning facilitator, and professor. Currently, she is a faculty coach and a coach of coaches and works to build sustainable systems founded in a culture of coaching. Marie holds fast to the idea that everyone deserves a coach, and this is apparent in all aspects of her work.
Marie is a Cognitive CoachingSM Training Associate. She lives in the Denver-Metro area and loves being outdoors, training for and running marathons, trying new recipes, and morning coffee on her back porch.
