Mark Archon

Training Associate:
Cognitive Coaching Seminars

Mark Archon is a certified Training Associate with Thinking Collaborative who provides professional learning in Cognitive Coaching and Adaptive Schools. Mark is committed to building trust with educational partners to enhance educational opportunities for all students specifically underserved students. Mark has been an educator in California for nearly 30 years. He has been a teacher and an administrator at the middle school level for sixteen years. Since 2006 he has worked at two county offices of education providing preparation for school leaders and advocating and supporting the integration of technology for K-12 schools. Some of Mark’s passions are building self-directedness in fellow educators, helping support school libraries, and being an advocate for technology integration in schools. Mark has experience and expertise in systems thinking, strategic planning, group facilitation, cultural proficiency, leadership development and technology integration.

Special Qualifications
Mark has a B.A. in Biological Science and an M.A. in Environmental Science from Fresno State University and a Doctorate in Education in Organizational Leadership from the University of La Verne. In 2010 Mark participated in the “Greatness By Design” statewide reform initiative providing input on Professional Learning. In 2013 Mark was a member of the California Statewide Task Force on Special Education. Mark has enjoyed presenting at numerous conferences including CISC Symposium, CUE, California School Library Association and the Mediterranean Association of International Schools.
