Natalie Irons, a Training Associate for Cognitive Coaching and Adaptive Schools, places the people in the systems she supports as priority. Since 2002, Natalie has worked in partnership with UCLA/Center X and Los Angeles area schools to develop collaborative practices that support positive academic, social and emotional growth through self-directed learning opportunities. As Associate Director of Instructional Coaching Programs at UCLA/Center X, her work mission is to transform thinking into equitable, relationship-based practice. Prior to 2002, she spent 12 years in Los Angeles county classrooms teaching students at various grade levels to find their voices through reading and writing. Natalie supports leaders, classroom teachers and coaches with instructional and leadership coaching and facilitation to create positive, trusting relationships which produce, individual and collective, socially just outcomes.
