Pat Mullikin

Pat Mullikin is currently a private educational consultant, and part-time Director of Tri-County Teacher Center. She is a retired teacher, mentor coordinator, department chairperson and regional early childhood administrator. She has been involved with Cognitive Coaching and Adaptive Schools since 2005 and is a Training Associate for Adaptive Schools, Cognitive Coaching and Habits of Mind. Pat has a background in and provides a variety of trainings including: Cognitive Coaching, Adaptive Schools, Habits of Mind, Mentoring, Teacher Rubrics, Effective Classroom Practices, Teacher Leadership, Presentation Skills, Facilitation Skills, Poverty, and others as requested. She has worked with teachers to reflect on their practice and set goals utilizing videotapes of their practice. Pat is currently developing and implementing virtual training opportunities for teachers and administrators in her region. Often, Pat co-presents trainings with Juanita Henry to give participants a K-12 perspective.

Pat has a B.S. in Elementary Education and did graduate work in Early Childhood Education at the State University of New York at Geneseo. She has a M.S. and Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Administration from the State University of New York at Brockport. Pat taught at the Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade levels for over 30 years and was a Regional Early Childhood Administrator for 8 years. In these roles she led initiatives in curriculum development, curriculum mapping, student assessment, teacher evaluation, and mentor program development.

Pat is a member of ASCD and Learning Forward.
