Sarah Koenen

Sarah is an educator and passionate advocate for high-quality adult learning. She is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher, and former Teacher of the Year with 20+ years of experience in educating children and adults. Her expertise in the areas of coaching, presenting and facilitating embodies her commitment to support and develop the human capital of organizations by ensuring the trainings, workshops, and seminars that adult learners attend with her are energizing, motivating and transforming.
In 2006, Sarah began her journey developing as a coach, presenter and facilitator and has had the privilege of bringing quality professional learning to educators internationally ever since. In 2009, she was named Arizona's Teacher of the Year, in recognition of her work teaching children and coaching adults. In 2010, she was one of five finalists for the National Education Association's Teacher of the Year and a recipient of the Horace Mann Teaching Excellence Award, also in recognition of her work as a coach.
Over the past 10 years, she has supported the development of teachers, coaches, principals and administrators who support students at all educational levels.
She is married to her best friend, Justin and together they enjoy gardening, playing cards and generally, anything outdoors. Sarah's proudest accomplishment began in 2019, when she became a mother to sweet and funny Milo!
