Walter Basnight is the Director of Teaching and Learning at the American Community School in Amman, Jordan. An educator and leader in international schools for more than 30 years, Walter has served as a teacher, instructional coach, and facilitator of professional learning across multiple school contexts. He is passionate about supporting individuals and teams in realizing their potential and believes that strong schools grow through intentional collaboration, thoughtful reflection, and continuous learning. Walter has seen the impact that Cognitive Coaching and Adaptive Schools can have in strengthening professional culture and helping educators build the collective capacity needed to improve teaching and learning for all students.
