Hi everyone. I hope you're all well. I'm Dina, an Agency Trainer in CT.

Districts are quickly deciding what they will do with their ESSER II funds from the government. Since we know that coaching is one of the most effective ways for educators to internalize new learning/practices, I was wondering if anyone wanted to work on some brief talking points with me as a way to promote Cognitive Coaching (I'd say Adaptive Schools but I'm not trained in that so I'm not sure what the talking points would be). Districts are getting ready to spend millions of dollars on PD for next year, and I'd like for some of that money to go to CC to support whatever other learning they are getting. It might be a good time for districts to increase/start instructional coaching, to build established coaches' capacity, etc.

I've created a shared Google drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1N4xNC6vAx2DTgsWjWHSmhoIVKBq8BzY9?usp=sharing

Hopefully we can create material that we can all use. If you have something already and are willing to share, feel free to drop it in the folder. I've started a document for talking points as well.

Thanks in advance. Stay well.

Thank you, Dina. Who might like to join in for a collaborative, abbreviated planning conversation?
